About us

 

I have had a love of both contemporary and classic cars ( and motorcycles ) since before leaving school in 1958 aged fifteen.

On leaving school I went into the motor trade to train as a mechanic and worked at two local garages ( BMC and Ford ) finishing up as workshop foreman.

I then established Ranscombe Cars in 1966 in Stevenage Old Town and we were appointed as Lotus Service Agents in the early nineteen seventies. ( Ref. home page ) We serviced and sold Lotus Cars for some six years. Other makes were catered for and we built up a strong customer base.

 

I have worked in the motor trade and transport all my working life.

 

Latterly I trade on my own and source cars from different areas, quality being the most important aspect of obtaining stock.

 

Our cars are Hpi checked, fully prepared and come with a six month warranty supplied by Warrantywise, extendible if required.

 

We also provide FREE 7 day Driveaway Insurance through Norwich Union
